Toketee Falls is located east of Roseburg, Oregon. The 120 foot/37 meter two stage plunge through a cut in the columnar basalt wall is one of my favorites.
Toketee Falls is located on the North Umpqua River where is meets Clearwater River. Toketee is native Chinook for “pretty” or “graceful”. Both suit the falls nicely.
The parking area and trailhead is located off of Hwy-138 at milepost 58.6. Turn onto Forest Road 34 and follow the signs. The trail to the falls is nice, but is not flat, and it only 0.4 mi/0.6 km. The view from the viewing platform make the trip worth it!
